Graduates for Growth forum meet every quarter to discuss current activities
and successes and to share best practice.
Forum members are
all actively engaged in developing graduate opportunities in North East
England and offer a comprehensive range of initiatives and programmes
including work experience and work placements, careers

Creativitworks
Is managed by the School
of Arts, Design, Media & Culture, at the University of Sunderland,
and allows new creative businesses to hot desk for up to 2 years. Creativitiworks
offers: business advice and support, a hot desk equipped with PC or Apple
Mac, e-mail and internet access, telephone, desktop printing, photocopying
and use of presentation / meeting room. Creativitiworks companies can
also access external and University academics, agencies and networks,
as well as University facilities and equipment at preferential rates.

The Hatchery at
the University of Sunderland
Offers students and graduates the chance to develop a business idea in
a risk free environment. From idea stage to trading, students from all
schools have access to the free facilities and support for a period
of up to 12 months. The Hatchery also offers a range of courses in business
startup to provide participants with the basic knowledge required to set
